I can't say much about those planes, but just north up at Dover AFB there have been those huge planes doing "global operations training". I drive by every week and they just fly in circles around the base. Possibly the c-17 globemaster? I don't know planes
Probably C17s, I think most of the C5 fleet that weren't updated have been retired. They've been flying around like that my entire life. My mom was a crew chief and eventually a master chief working in the command post handling the logistics. The first time in my life they weren't flying around in circles incessantly was after 9/11 and they actually had missions to go on.
