Sitting here watching my local news and they are showing all of the troops in Washington DC and talking about Biden will be sworn in as 46th President. They said they are needed as security because of the large amount of threats from Right Wing Extremists. Then talked about Capitol buildings throughout the country doing the same in preparation for armed protests planned. Then they talked about the crap at the Capitol, talking about how they were people attempting to assassinate elected officials.
Watching this crap makes me sick, it’s the first time I turned the local news on and then I see this crap. Ugh
The news is banned in my house. OANN is the only thing allowed.
The first time I have looked at news in quite sometime and it was just insane, literally felt like I am in a completely different dimension. Just blew my mind for a second.
Get the weather from a weather app and ignore the local news.
Although on my station there are a couple that obviously hate to read some of the propaganda.... Their whole demeanor changes and it makes me smile to know that they're not ALL assholes.
