We are putting my 96 year old grandma in hospice today. My heart is broken. Aside from when I moved away in college, I’ve lived next door to her and seen her almost ever day of my life. (3 houses on the farm, my parents house, her house and mine). I moved in to this house after college because I wanted to be close to my grandparents. The past few years I’ve been her caregiver - laundry, housework, cooking, etc.

My heart is broken, but I’m thankful that I had 44 years with her as my favorite person. She had 67 years with my grandpa before he passed. She’s had 96 good years on earth and we’ll all have an eternity in Heaven together.

My heart is broken, but I’m choosing to be thankful today.

Be thankful for your families and if you’re the praying type, pray for peace for my family. ❤️

My MIL beat breast cancer a while ago… had several clear scans. Got her vaccine in the spring, and died a couple weeks ago. The breast cancer came back, along with cancer in her lungs, brain and liver. She was gone within 2 months of them telling her it was back.

I 100% believe the vaccine activated some kind of inflammatory response or triggered something that made the cancer grow so aggressively.

Her story is not the only one I’ve heard like that either, I’m sure you can find more to show your wife if you need to.

The argument that I found worked was that they won’t continue to give the shots away for “free”. What’s going to happen when it costs you $25 to be fully vaccinated? Then $50? $100? Eventually you’ll be spending a few hundred several times a year to be “fully vaccinated”… unless you stop the nonsense now.

When my husband was sick last week I told him I wouldn’t take him to the hospital no matter what because no one dies from Covid at home. As long as he stayed home he would be fine.

Some horse paste too and he was good in a couple days. Went back to work today.

Coincidentally he’s the only one in our house that’s vaxxed and the only one that got sick.

What do they expect us to do when they take all of our games down?

It’s icky! But my kids and I have been entertained by this… my oldest wants to be a rocket scientist so she’s been researching that it was caused by sunspots or flares. My youngest thinks she’s gonna be a hacker so she’s been explaining to me how and why she would take things down….. if she can gain the skills she’ll be scary some day, lol

I understand most of those words… (I’m not super tech savvy)

So what you’re saying is that it’s fun while it lasts but it’ll be back to normal soon?

I can’t get Candy Crush to load… how do we replicate that?

I’ve spent more time on the internet today figuring out why it’s down than what I normally spend, lol

Mine will load but everything is from 4+ hours ago.

I had planned to scrub some cabinets and stuff around the house today but now I’m not going to because my husband will say I only did it because FB and Insta were down, lol

I’m driving (at a light now) - someone update me quick so I can read it at the next light??

You aren’t missing much on Twitter… it’s just everyone congratulating themselves for joe and the hoe winning again and making excuses for all of the other findings.

Someone posted that the number of ballots matches, but the legitimacy of the ballots is questionable and the overwhelming response was that legitimacy doesn’t matter, only the number of ballots.

I don’t even understand the logic.

I’m checking here and Twitter…. Sitting at soccer fields so I can’t stream yet. Luckily my kid isn’t starting today so I don’t have to pay attention to the game yet, l

I think I haven’t been banned yet because I’m mostly quiet on there, lol

Does anyone have a good source to follow on Twitter if we can’t stream it?

I hope that’s what it is…. I feel like we’ve been kicked around so much the past 9 months I’m afraid to get my hopes up too much. But then… my hopes are up this time.

They are all a bright, royal blue on mine. Does it matter if you use the app or web service?

My daughter was 7 in 2016 and she loved Trump… didn’t know much about politics, but she liked to hear him talk and thought he was funny.

My older girl wanted to be as fabulous as Melanie, but became a fan of Lara Trump after she signed one of the signs they were holding up at the rally we went to.

I don’t force it on them, but they do ask questions and want to understand what’s going on.

I saw some comments on a couple videos this morning that she died in the hospital? I haven’t been able to confirm it, but haven’t seen anything about her injuries either (except above).

Is there a reliable source of information? Her family or anyone on the ground there?

I wish we could get them in Handmaids Tale outfits and masks…. Maybe just red dresses and white masks.

It would be more accurate than all the times the left dressed up in those costumes.

We got quarantined today because one of my kids was a contact of someone with no symptoms but a positive test. I still super pissed off about it. COVID is affecting all of our kids too much.

We all have allergy symptoms this time of year so we’ve been treating them. No fever in anyone, but we are taking zinc and d3 anyway… have been for a while as recommended by a couple docs.

The news is trying to scare everyone. They are finding every scary story the can and spreading it everywhere. I just remember that what they show are the exceptions - that’s why they’re a big deal. Far more people have come through this just fine. My kids will be fine if they get it. I will be fine - even as a diabetic.

Get some rest and take your vitamins. Test if you want. Don’t test if you don’t want to. You make the decisions when it comes to your kids - you don’t have to coparent with the government.

I should say at the building level they are conservative. They still say the pledge every morning, the football team runs onto the field carrying the flag, teachers have been disciplined for getting too political, and CRT is not an option.

The superintendent and 1 school board member are raging liberals, I think that’s where most of the COVID rules come from.
