I recall Green Castle was a reference to a military division.

Had to do with building the wall. Red Castle = Army Core of Engineers, Based in Greencastle, IN

Also castle rock is was the home of a big railroad tycoon which is now a park and overlooks West Point . There is a castle their (name of the castle)
There is also I believe a castle rock in Virginia the George Washington surveyed as a young man.
