Hey, I actually live around this area. Castle Rock, CO is a sprawling, predominantly conservative suburbia area with really nothing more than houses and some restaurants and businesses to support the surrounding suburbs. It is named for its distinctive “castle” rock on top of a large hill/outcrop in the center of the older town section. It’s about 45 minutes to and hour from Colorado Springs (depending on traffic) and there are a lot of other towns between Castle rock and Colorado Springs. I’m just saying don’t get all excited about Castle rock in Colorado because there is nothing there but beautiful suburbia. Quite a few of my friends live there with their families.
