m4 and m16 pretty much same thing m4 is just smaller
M16s are just about out of rotation, but there may still be some Guard units that use them.
I don’t think all the Guard units that have been sent are infantry or MP units, but I could be wrong.
when i was in AIT i got to shoot m16a1 in Aberdeen md. i knew i would get in trouble to shoot it full auto but did it anyways and switched it right back to semi instantly as drill sergeant ripped it from my hands. he looked at the selector switch and looked at me and handed back the rifle to me no punishment lol. it pays to be smart and sly.
