Grown ups get to fantasize about obtaining the power and prestige they've always longed for and then they get a bucket of ice water instead. Rather than waking up thinking how they're going to spend their millions, they suddenly have the cold reality that they're arrested, facing long prison sentences or possibly firing squad, all their wealth confiscated, their family names are forever scared and they become embarrassments to anyone who knows them. Then the greatest pain comes from knowing they're actually lower than deplorables on the social register.
