There were a couple of 1 and 2-star CCP generals that came and observed Canadian warfare training. Trudeau wanted to conduct another exercise with CCP oversight but Canadian DoD said no and Trudeau threw a fit.

There are reports of CCP artillery divisions on Canadian west coast islands, but I don't know how credible those reports are.
