Whether they hate him or not, these traditions and ceremonies are a huge deal. The military is all about doing retirement ceremonies, change of command ceremonies...so if they aren't doing this...it is for a reason. And them not liking the President isn't a valid reason...we all hated Obama in the military but he still got all the honors.
