According to NPR she isn’t going to resign until the 19th. They were waiting because that was going to be the day Congress is back from recess and depending on what was to happen with the impeachment vote they wanted her for that confirmed “yay”

Yeah can’t trust them, interesting though! It was a couple days ago, it was a lengthy article about the gov’s plans for the inauguration. The part about Harris was squeaked in at the end.
