Yes exactly my thinking all previous events leading up to this day and all future pointing back to this new beginning. Similarly, from a biblical perspective, I learned to view the OT as pointing to the Cross and the NT as pointing back to it.
And here I thought this was a smashing pumpkins thread. /s
