Has not happened in 40 years, the military not holding a ceremony for an outgoing president.

What would really settle us all down is if during this whole thing one of them dropped the words “trust the plan” in there.

For example, if Pompeo were to mention the Biden transition team and all the soldiers in DC that the soldiers should trust the plan of their command to secure a smooth transition” or something like that.
