I get the timing of everything. Trump likely didn't act in 2016, because he had already won in the first place. I think the focus was simply on getting in there first and foremost, and spending time on 2016 would be wasting time preparing for 2020. While the midterms in 2018 would have helped, the real goal is gathering evidence of a hacked 2020 election.
It was a win/win gamble based on the confidence from seeing the real 2016 and 2018 numbers. Either the DS cheats and his sting is successful, or he wins in a landslide. Win. Win.
Striking after the election is already cemented means they have no time to regroup and come up with a counter strategy or even the ability to choose a new candidate. Taking Biden out of the Dem Primary early would be tempting, but the DS would just push through someone else who might be cleaner. Thus the swamp can be exposed and the election fraud demonstrably proven to be done in collusion with China. Arrests will come and everyone will be surprised that it actually happened.
TLDR; Trump will serve 3 terms by the end of this.
The Presidency takes a heavy toll on a man. Most leave after two terms the worse for wear. Trump is already showing the strain of one term. He will serve his second, but he will not serve a third.
Someone we haven't seen yet is waiting in the wings to continue the long term plan for America, and that someone I believe will be VP in Trump's second term. I don't think Pence is that someone even if he is deemed a white hat at the end of this period.
Even if he's a white hat, and I do suspect that he may be, I think he'll end up being distrusted a bit too much. He's had to endure a lot from us if that actually ends up being the case. Someone else will need to step in.
Trump isn't exactly young, either - he is 74 now, will be 78 by the time 2nd term would be done. If he did a 3rd he'd end it at 82. Man deserves a rest after saving the free world, too!
Pence is younger but he's been in politics for a long time. I think anyone that has played a pivotal role in this entire operation (at least on the public side) will have had more than enough politics for a lifetime, really.
I could definitely see Pompeo doing something, but I also think there's a lot of new blood to be tapped into; after all, an awful lot of seats will need filling, with people actually elected.
Assuming he isn't DS, I could see Cruz being president, too. Not perfect, sure, but seems to be fighting for our side of things and I think he's learned a lot from Trump.
I also don't think Texas is as vulnerable to voter fraud, given their rejection of Dominion machines among other actions.
Cruz is not eligible, being born in Canada, and I do not forgive him for his corruption in the 2016 Republican primary.
I assume Pompeo is up next as at least the VP.
