The moves lately have suggested the the DS thought they had the bases covered here with Esper as SECDEF and Wolf at DHS.

The DS thought they were setting up a checkmate, only to get their setup guys axed at the last minute.

The DS is fucked and they know it. Wolf stepped down on the 11th. Q post 316 says " Martial Law starting the 11th?"
