Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was handed a block of cheese by a woman who was reportedly protesting United States tariff threats against the European Union.

Video footage recorded in Rome by the Associated Press shows Pompeo shaking hands with Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, when a woman approaches the two men.

"Mr. Prime Minister knows what I'm talking about. This is Parmigiano Reggiano and is what we make best in Italy," she says, according to subtitles provided by the Associated Press. "So it's something our farmers make with their hearts every day. So we hope you can help us and take it to Trump."

Probably close enough. Is Pompeo suggesting Trump is going to be in a position to accept the gift and do something about trade with Italy?

Italy is a friendly nation with great people.

If you go into his accomplishments on the WhiteHouse website, one is Liberating Venezuela and arresting Maduro. So maybe they have liberated them as well?
