I'm watching the video from Ft Drum. Even with many natural applause lines, Pence and his wife got only a polite even lukewarm reception. Polite applause only. No huahs, to cheers.

Trump seems to have cancelled all the traditional "parting ceremonies" so the official reason is Pence is there in lieu of the POTUS.
