Common in many VBS and other programs. Lots of Christian songs teach symbolic gestures and such, not uncommon at all if you grew up in it. (anyone remember Father Abraham?)

What is more important is that if you want righteous warriors in a battle against actual Evil (pedos, world domination, etc), this is what you teach them.
