I live and work surrounded by default liberals. WaPo, NYT readers, but not raging leftists. They have all at some point in casual conversation mentioned how we just "need to get through this inauguration without any trouble". They know. The question is how well they will accept it. I pray shocking evidence, truly shocking, is revealed quickly and disseminated without restriction. Without it, I'm left trying to explain like I'm talking to a five year old what's going on.
"The people who you've trusted are actually the bad guys" "That doesn't mean you are also a bad guy" "the military are the good guys"
Anybody have more tips on how to handle this. There's no way anyone will accept going straight to qdrops and decodes.
I don't see any way forward for you, I'm in the same boat but with family. They are completely brainwashed by the only information that they allow to come in contact with their brains. They will not seek out opposing or different viewpoints/information. One of the problems is that it is difficult to make the argument for what is going on without going into issues that are so hard to believe that people immediately shut down. Even election fraud has become that way. How fucking hard is it to go find the video of the people shooing out the poll watchers and then counting the ballots out of hidden suitcases? Or the one about the USPS driver carrying hundreds of thousands of filled out ballots from NY to PA? They won't even believe their own eyes, it's very hard to understand the spell they are under.
I showed that video to my parents, they thought it was odd but then a few days later said the GA sec of state said nothing illegal happened in that video, and that was proof enough for them that it was fine
