I turned off my apple updates...

And still got a request to allow the update to go through today. Anyone else?

Turning off automatic updates doesn’t stop the phone from prompting you to update when new software is available. I heard the reason behind it as I also turned mine off. But with with Space Force and the EBS, I’m not concerned that IF it is used I won’t be aware of it. Also, FCC is being very proactive with letting media know that it is a LAW to broadcast what is necessary.
