I chalk it up to information overload. When you have been following it as long as we have, there are so many pins in the board and strings that connect them, that it's really hard to follow in an order to easily explain.
Look for proofs, and connect dots one at a time. Eventually the picture will come together for you, it's just unlike any other connect the dot puzzle you've done in the past.

I admit it's a TON of information, and if I hadn't been along for the ride since the beginning, it would be very hard to keep up.
