That would be to assume that the DS is still in charge. To me it seems they are not. Yeah I know Epstein, but maybe:

Epstein is still alive.
Epstein was executed because they didn't have anything relevant Trump didn't already have.

At this point, we don't know who has decided to turn and play their roll to avoid execution, and who hasn't.
