Dear Quincy, thank you for this! I was late to the party regarding the original availability of this song but, weeks ago, I totally stumbled onto this treasure. Coincidence or Divine Appointment? LOL! You KNOW the answer. Listened over and over... maybe a hundred times, I have no idea - and I still LOVE to hear/see this again and again. Joy tears every time. So many BEAUTIFUL versions!

And this interpretation of the scriptural themes opens a whole joyful, loving persona regarding the "Old Testament" God, evidence of which we don't get to have testimony, often enough. I can almost "hear" that sweet, very personal voice of The One Eternal in the lyrics of these precious young people.

"I AM thy God and will still give the aid..."
