I suppose my question from someone who doesn't have much of a military understanding, why would an active General post this on the internet? Is there rules against that?
They probably fucking wouldn't which is why you're questioning it.
There is no way to "verify" any of these accounts. This platform is new and not regulated like Twitter and Facebook. Do not ever open any links on the internet that you do not recognize as they could contain malicious code.
I checked Twitter myself and saw literally no post ever mentioning this guy's name from anyone with a verified account like Pompeo or @FLOTUS. This is just some distraction to give bored folks something to chase after and waste their time on, much like "Simon Parke" and any other psedo-personalities that get brought up. I've been on the chans, Reddit, etc since before Wikileaks happened. This is common way to rile up new eyes and I've never seen one of these folks be legit Example of someone legit? Bill Cooper. Assange. Snowden. (edit - Isaac Kappy, after thinking on it)
