Trump is the commander-in-chief of the military - There is no "transferring power to the military" He LEADS the military. Trump shall remain president while the military does its DUTY.

I do not like this giving away power angle - continuity demands that there is always a leader, always a president. Trump will at all times remain and continue to be President until China Joe is gently remanded into comfortable custody and given a cool drink and a set of rubber tits to play with while his trial is scheduled.
