I don't really see it as a goal post moving. I think after the 6th it became much more clear this is going to take much longer than just denying him the inauguration.

I'm not a doomer, there's a difference between a plan and a strategy. Plans never work, that's why you have strategy.

Honestly if I was the enemy and demoralizing the opponent was the goal, I'd do everything I can to make sure the 20th is a nothing burger.
