Poppy was well known at CEC for championing progressive causes and multiculturalism. As an anecdote "CEC will not longer be in the business of energy production by 2030, as the last of it's aging fleet of coal power stations will have been decommissioned."
N. Californian here. There are high winds, so outages would not be out of the norm.
