A good portion of people are still too brainwashed to accept this news from Trump directly. It has to come from the military, this has to look like he had nothing to do with it.

No, the military takes control through the proper legal channels set forth in the constitution and other legislatures. If media outlets report it as anything but that, they will be treated as being complicit in attempting to inaugurate an illegitimate president.
