Well despite the negative connotations, owls are supposedly a symbol of wisdom. Perhaps it's a sign that leaving a liberal hellscape is a wise decision. I had one swoop out of the trees and perch on a power line in the back yard the other day, but this place is lousy with owls. They're every-damn-where.
