To fool your enemies you have to sometimes fool your allies as well, so that they act the part you want them to.

I don't know every single detail about the exact plan, and that's good because that means the DS doesn't know either.

We have more than enough information to discern that Q is legit, and that he and Trump are on our side. Which imo is good enough.
