I live in a deep red area with a communist run city council, I've decided to run for my district to do my part. I visited my county GOP office to ask for advice, he said "she's crooked with big money behind her, the election is in 2 years and you need to start Preparing right now."

After he probed me trying to find out my genuine political affiliation he promised "$1,200 to my campaign" then informed me I would be dedicating a majority of my life to this, I needed to ask my wife if I have her full support, and that I would go through the gauntlet as far as my past, and I would have to raise money, knock doors, surround myself with like minded patriots and garner their support.

I was shocked that this is what it takes to run for city council in a city of 70k. But I'll do it, because I don't want a communist takeover, and I think you should all do the same thing, if you don't run, find a local patriot group and go to the meetings, and support them.
