The credits have started to roll. Most of the people have left their seats and are walking out through the exits, while some of us stay behind, waiting to see if something shows up on the screen, like maybe the movie isn't quite over yet...
Then we get our surprise ending after the credits roll and get a excited glimpse into what comes next.

I disagree, credits haven't rolled yet. This is the third act before the climax where you think the Hero is done and out. Wrong. Movie not over yet.
Oh I see. I may have jumped ahead of myself. So this is the part where we think the Hero has lost, only for them to rise from the ashes and defeat the darkness?
