the thing I had encounter with wasn't at all physical but it did cause a popping noise when it came into a vague visibility, it then walked toward the fireplace and then make an arc to head toward where I was sitting on the couch, it then bent forward to where it's barely visible face was in front of mine

didn't have any sense of an ET about thing - that it primarily inhabits some other context of existence, but is able to somewhat intrude into our context of reality, and most definitely interact with us (that malevolent force field thing for one)
