You fall asleep and wake up tomorrow to the absolute nightmare you were always afraid of having. Except, you aren't alone. Sure we're pseudonyms in a virtual space, but we're real people pounding back 9% ABV beer while bullshitting to each other and hoping for the best possible outcome.
"We will never be the same." Yeah, according to recent lingo that's "doomer" but according to common sense that's normal life. So much is out of our control and so many things we didn't want to happen, will happen.
We have to differentiate ourselves from the people who have everything they didn't want to happen to them, happen to them - and then curl up in a ball and cry. We need to become the movement that's begun, that has grown, that's searching for some "hopium." To do that, you have to sleep those few hours and wake up with a different attitude, a different mindset.
Whatever happens tomorrow is the dawn of a new era. It may be a supernova bright dawn, or a dawn of an age of darkness. If the worst outcome you can imagine occurs then ask yourself if you're willing to continue holding a torch against the darkness with others willing to do the same. That's all a revolution against tyranny really is about.
Holding a line of torches against what is considered to be a common darkness seeking to conquer and enslave you and your ideas. There's that old adage that all the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.
Call me delusional but if that darkness is put into power and seeks to subjugate the people around me then if I believe at all in what the Founding Fathers did I'd have to do my best to keep a candle lit so others can come use the flame to light their own.
But, that's just me. A peckerhead drinking a beer before bed.
Nah, it isn't a problem. People just need to take a deep breath sometimes, and step away to look at the moon outside. We all can sometimes be drawn too deeply and with too much intensity into what we focus on the most. We just need to remember to breathe, and look around at the larger picture so we lose our tunnel vision. We can't stop the world from spinning. Imagine if we could - we'd all float away. But we can not give up our beliefs and our fight. No one wins all the time, but we don't win if we give up.
Consider this:

Beautifully spoken. <3
100% sober. Maybe that's my problem.

I'm considering having a drunk & loud music kind of day.....
Feels like a Slayer Reign in Blood mood.
