I made a post earlier about using the pardons to pull the Republican party back together and some of our intellectuals thought we should let the party die. Did you forget there is a Impeachment bill headed to the Senate?

Don't get me wrong, I agree the 2 parties we have now are 2 wings of the same bird.
The 2 party system flips back and forth giving us one bad candidate after another.

Yes, POTUS should create a new party(in the future) but for the time being he has to work with what he has. A 2/3rds impeachment vote in the Senate could unseat Trump even if he wins his reelection bid.

The thought came to me that perhaps the democrats were blackmailing republicans. Blackmail is the tool of choice used by the democrats. We may have witnessed this as we saw some of Trump's fellow party members distance themselves from Trump. Then Trump announces he is issuing 100 pardons. Who are these pardons for?

Q has been on both sides of the fence when says no deals. He told us we would have to incarcerate the entire congress if we didn't cut some deals and this would leave us in a national security crisis. At the same time he has told us NO DEALS.

The level of the crime determines if you get a deal. If you are committing crimes against humanity, you get NO DEALS. If you committed white collar crimes that didn't hurt anyone, you may get a deal. That deal would come in the way of a pardon.

We saw 6 Senators left standing on stage fighting for Trump on January 6th. This is not enough to protect Trump from a impeachment. Handing out pardons and pulling the republican party back together may be the only way to move forward.

Giving out pardons cuts the control the democrats have of some republicans, their blackmail power is gone. Once we get through this mess and solidify Trump's Oval office seat, yes we can start looking at a new party, cutting out all the bad actors as we move forward, but for now he made still need their support.

Ya, I read this when it came out, it confused me, never really knew the message it was trying to convey, So by allowing someone other than Pence to open the ballots makes the whole process invalid? I wasn't sure if a technicality could be used to throw out the entire proceeding.
