So before Jan 6, he spoke more of overturning the election and not allowing the fraud to succeed.
The events of Jan 6 would give a reason for the military to set up at the Capitol and for the fence to be put up. Ultimately to trap the deep state.
So once Jan 6 was achieved, Trump changed his rhetoric so as to give the DS a false sense of security and to allow for the inauguration to take place.
