Yeah, I remember being really scared and I asked them why they didn't come get us. They said we lived no where near New York, so there wasn't any danger for us.
I mean, they were right... but still.
Man, I still remember almost everything about that day. I was only 13. I remember all my classes and which ones talked about what was going on and which ones tried to ignore it. I can't believe it will be 20 years in September.
I was already homeschooled by that time so I was dragged over to the TV while my brother was freaking out calling his dad over and over again.
His dad was supposed to fly the second plane but changed spots with a friend last minute. (My brother didn't know the change so he only knew theboriginal Pläne his dad was supposed to fly hence the freak-out)
He felt guilty about that last minute choice for the rest of his life.
Ugh, my parents made me stay in school the whole day, but I remember a lot of kids got picked up early.

Pretty sure I stayed all day too. I was a freshman in highschool and my dad was working on Ft. Hood. It was a terrifying day.
