They just did a test in Alabama of the loud wailing sirens

Typically they test it every month on the first wednesday of the month, so this test that just happened is not on the correct schedule.

Why are they testing the loud alarms right now?

Althought I haven't received the EBS test on my phone that other people have been reporting.

Where in Alabama? I’m in S. Alabama and haven’t heard anything. And the weather is beautiful here so no threat of tornadoes.
