What is the explanation? We are supposed to believe because of 1/6 that kind of fortification was necessary? Ok, it was necessary. Who makes that decision? Whoever, Trump can overrule, no? So why did he allow that to all be set up? Nothing happened. No one showed up. Not a single soldier was needed.

Ok, so why are they still there? How long until the fences get taken down?

Is this over? That's really how this all ends? Trump just leaves?

Who is now controlling the soldiers in DC?

Pretty much everyone here was 100% confident Trump ordered those troops to DC just yesterday for the sting. The seemingly painful truth is he was protecting Biden from his own supporters, not the other way around.
