This sucks and I lost money too. Stocks and betting maybe $5k but it is what it is. Money isn’t the most important thing. Reconnect with family and try to find a way forward.
Betting on election results is illegal in the United States. US casinos do not offer such bets. If you made a bet on Trump, who are you going to sue? Some shady casino website based in Panama?
If you placed a bet at a legalized casino in Nevada, or any other legalized casino, regulated by a state (Mohegan Sun, Riverboat Casinos in LA, etc.) then possibly. If it was online from a gambling website outside the US then doubtful. I do like this thinking though. Talk to an attorney. DISCOVERY is the key word.
I believe someone already reported that Vegas is not paying out till Mar 5th!
Essentially the ones in the know, know that if they pay out now they will have to pay out again when Trump is inaugurated on the legal date of Mar 4th.
There are no casinos in "Vegas" or anywhere in the US that take bets on election results. If you want to make such a bet, you have to do it on an offshore website. The number of people who don't know this easily verifiable fact and keep talking about when "Vegas" is going to pay on Trump-Biden bets is astounding.
Actually, I prefer to believe all of the doctors, scientists, scholars, historians, economists, and journalists who do not receive funding from a corrupt govt. They, oddly enough, say the exact opposite of your 'devoted' carnival barkers.
no standing, remember?
Would financial loss give them a standing?

Lin wood would be the person to ask that but it might be something to look into. Class action with 80 million people cannot be ignored.
Oh lol I dont mean for bets I mean Trump supporters should do that.

No because the betting sites never said who would win, just that "X person will be president on 1/20 12pm" or whatever.
They'll say you bet against the country and should be reeducated against your beliefs until they align with theirs. That's how "unity" works.
I guess you have to factor in that the courts are crooked.
Absolutely!!! Relentless pressure for an investigation!!
