Hey everyone,
It's been a rough time. A rough four years, but today especially has been tough. I've been a long time lurker here and have only recently started actually commenting on posts, but I wanted to take a moment to get something off of my chest.
I get that you all don't like the doom and gloom, especially after today. It's been a hell of a day for us all. I agree that posts like "haha you all were wrong" aren't constructive at all and are pointless.
But you know what else I believe in? Free. Fucking. Speech. President Trump has always believed in it, and so do I. I have seen so many posts today of people demanding that new accounts be banned or temporarily silenced, I've even seen mod stickies saying that they're basically going on a banning spree of negative posts. This isn't what any of the .win sites were about. Are we so quick to return to our reddit-tier/MSM/Social Media censorship just because we read a post of doom and gloom? We condemn the media constantly for silencing the voices of we the people and of our president, yet we barely bat an eye when we have a rough week and want to turn around and do the same to our users just because it annoys us?
United we stand, divided we fall. Really take a moment and think about these words. The amount of posts I see on here and TD not just about censoring new accounts, but about how "TD has lost all hope screw them" or the same about GA is sickening. This is what the satanists want- they want to turn us on each other. WE ALL WANT THE SAME THING IN THE END. Don't give in to their divisiveness. Deal with the doom posts, ignore them, or even better- go into the comments and try to give these people hope. Are we so much "holier than thou" because someone else may be struggling to keep it together after everything we have witnessed in recent months? Jesus commanded that we "turn the other cheek" when attacked, and I feel that many people here and on TD have not been keeping with that teaching recently.
Let's try to show people love instead of censorship, hatred, and anger. I'm not saying to let people break the sidebar rules here, I'm saying that it's human nature to get disheartened at times, and that we should be lifting each other up instead of silencing people.
Sorry, but they essentially blacklist us from all their platforms.
"Go create your own platform"
Well, we did and they try to invade that too. Like cockroaches.
No, they don't have to go home but they have to get the hell out of here.
They? I didn't say "go be friends with Jack Dorsey". You've missed the entire point of this post.
If a user here is disheartened, that shouldn't mean instant censorship just because people can't stomach the thought of someone losing hope.
Those posts are stupid, pointless, and if made from a new account are troll posts. Go ahead, ban them. Not once did I say "peace and love bro let anyone and everyone post here don't you dare remove anything". I'm saying that just because someone is disheartened (which, who the fuck isn't, be honest) shouldn't equate to getting censored.
I don't even understand how you've somehow equated this to me saying we need to accept the censorship from other platforms, that's completely incorrect and I'm doubting that you even bothered to read what I wrote.
