Hello, I was browsing these forums and see people who dislike Socialism and Communism, but I was kinda wondering if any of y'all would like to deep dive on the subject and give me reasons you don't like the ideologies? Hoping to have a civil and open discussion, thank you in advance :)
Edit: I'm only human, sorry if it takes a bit for me to respond
Greed
So what is your solution for greed? Death camps again?
The current solution has been to tax the rich, stop monopolies, and raising the minimum wage. Right now the CEO makes muchhhhh more than most employees wage wise, unless if we are talking about Elon musk who is one of the only CEOs that takes a fair wage. I'm not saying that the current solutions are the best ones, but it's a decent start.
You can compare their wages here https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/ceo-pay-ratio/
what;s stopping the CEO's from just leaving the country for a better one? If they leave no more employment no more taxes from them, that's what happened to venezuela. You literally just want to steal the money from capitalists to use it for your teenager wet dream utopia. It has never worked and it will never work.
I would also advise you to acquaint yourself with Mises' famous critique of central planning called "The economic calculation problem".
https://wiki.mises.org/wiki/Economic_calculation_problem
what leader or person would you trust to implement the "true" socialism?
One that is not authoritarian would be nice.
Yes but you see, humans are greedy, finding a non-greedy human is like winning the lottery, especially if that human has been in politics for a loooong time. Communism gives too much power to the government so it always ends up in fascism because even if you start with a non-greedy leader once a greedy one takes over you are screwed!
Fascism and Communism are on completely different sides of the political spectrum. The examples I have seen are facades of Communism but strictly Fascism. Government control is stronger in Capitalism than in Communism as Capitalism is a gateway for greed from the upper class. Which means that individuals vs big companies result in poor laws such as the anti right to repair ones.
