I guess I’ve just spent a bit too much time researching the sovereign citizen movement to not raise an eyebrow at the idea of the United States being a corporation. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love for what I’m reading here to be true (the apparent situation right now is just disgusting, and honestly, life under socialism or communism is not one worth living in my book), but where can I learn more and vet the corporation notion?

Also, just for some hopium - At the inauguration motorcade, the NG turned their back on him. Only something done to traitors, imo.
Also, there is a post on here about Biden mumbling "salute the marines" and not doing it. The telling part is that the Marines ARE NOT saluting him.
I haven’t watched the inauguration, but it’s not surprising at all that the military has nothing but contempt for Biden.

Its the Act of 1871
Act of 1871, may also find more detail of it in 1878 as it was repealed in 1872 I think but piecemealed in in 1878.

Team Law explains it very clearly:

First, try understanding what a corporation is. It's an entity created in law; it doesn't replace any existing entities. Any corporation can only exist in law, and every law is backed and enforced by a greater entity (government).
If a corporation is a group of people authorized to act as a single entity, or a group of people elected to govern a town or borough, wouldn’t that mean every country in the world is a corporation?
I hate to make blanket statements, but darn near every city in the country is incorporated. The main purpose of a corporation is to limit legal liability for the owners and shareholders in the event of massive screw ups. Who do you think enforces corporate law?
