You misunderstand the difference between spirituallity (the joy and reccognition of sentient life) and religion (organized "spirituallity" that demands adherence to a rule book with the threat of everlasting punishment from a vengefull "god."

Spirituallity does not have "weapons" it has love for life. Religion has weapons and has murdered millions proving their god is better then others.
