I didn't see any evidence of anyone turning their back to Biden. What I saw were Soldiers facing in the direction opposite the road, but there were also several that were facing the motorcade that were standing on the road.

There could be many explanations for this, and none of them to do with Biden.

Most of them are grouped in loose formations, so they could have been in formation, but at ease. Meaning the wouldn't be turning around to watch cars go by.

Not a military guy, but isn’t it common when a higher officer, especially the CIC is driving by you should stand facing and salute. Need a military guy to clarify. They were already turned at the time.
