In this evil, fallen world, GOODNESS is rebellion.
It's past table tossing time.
So were our Founding Fathers.
It's crazy how they spin things these days. Lies have always existed, but the tricks and tools that are known due to our greater understanding in psychology are terrifying. Using terror and fear to fracture and manipulate the mind is a weapon humans shouldn't have access to.
Wow! Yes! EXACTLY! AMEN! LOL! Sorry, I got triggered but you hit it on the HEAD! Dear Pede, you can come and preach at our Church ANY time!
The chief Priests and elders were breaking so many of the commandments - every DAY - that I think our Precious Heavenly Father was having to hide some of them to keep intact those few that remained unbroken. LOL!
But the way I see it, the people being kept in ignorance (by the leaders) were VULNERABLE, relative to the religious authorities. My understanding of God's Holy word is that, IT IS A MAJOR NO-NO to abuse or violate or mislead someone who is vulnerable, relative to myself.
AND, the faith-authorities of those days had a HEAVY responsibility to reveal the love and truth of Almighty God - and to EMPOWER the simple people to KNOW THE TRUTH. They DID NOT and - as you say - they were "keeping the people blind". My take is, they were "on the take" and trying to keep the simple people dependent and ignorant and pliable for profit.
THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME OF THIS IMPORTANT TRUTH, LurkerWill! And thank you for being here! MAGA!
He didn't hate the Jews. He hated the Kenites impersonating the Jews and making up the leadership ie the Pharisees.
