I figure they were referring to the fact that 90% of the year's deaths are being qualified as rona. Not that they didnt die, but that in some cases it wasnt even a contributing factor, (like the dude in a coma after a motorcycle accident, or a drowning death) rather than it isn't sad that these people died.
They are, deaths from other causes dropped significantly this year. Pretty much if you died and had it, that's what you died from even if it didn't kill you.
