Do you think POTUS appointees will go back into their same roles once Trump is back in charge. For example Ratcliff will go back to DNI and Miller defense secretary?

it is custom, at least for cabinet posts, that they resign in between administrations so that if the President wants to replace them, he doesn't have to fire them
