I think we used to have great, honest (well, honest-enough), highly-intelligent and patriotic reporters in our Press ... decades ago.

However, Communism attacked and destroyed this critical institution while we slumbered...

Excellent point on the authority. I would bet it's their bosses ... as Q points out, to ask the question is to unravel the MSM itself, when you think about it.
