Ok yeah I was wondering if it could be a studio headset, but I wasn't sure if they were typically wired into the same audio system as the recording equipment.

I could definitely see family being in a studio watching things that way, instead of a wireless mic or something being out elsewhere that was heard.

If a lawyer was in the studio, it could also be a family or personal lawyer and not some rando lawyer.

I definitely see this (the recording coming from an audio/video control studio) as the most likely scenario given a studio headset is wired into the recording board. And yeah I could definitely see that if the studio needs to talk in a studio mix in someone's ear. Good call.

Perhaps a white hat should keep an eye on that audio engineer because they probably know what happened here.
