He appears in some ways to be an ideal public servant. He came back very nicely after being purged by the swamp rat McMaster.

Any statements made to the media, if not fake news, are for optics. Miller, Pompeo, and even Trump have used words about a transition to the Biden administration. If you believe those too, there'd be no point in us being here.
